This course introduces AqualLogic USER Interaction (formerly Plumtree family of products and covers how each product contributes to creating rich applications and web sites within a portal implementation. Students learn about the products: AquaLogic Interaction (the portal), Collaboration, Publisher, Studio, and Analytics by using each of them in exercises. We also cover the basic aspects of security from an end users point of view. The Foundations course also describes the various roles that people play and helps people understand how they fit into the implementation and what they should do next. Finally, we provide a proven roadmap for success, which is based on Consulting best practices. This is a great starter course to everyone who will be involved in the portal implementation.

Use basic features of the portal (navigate, customize, search for content, people and other
items). Perform basic user tasks in Collaboration. Use a typical Publisher portlet to add

experiences with the portal (i.e. witness secured access control). Describe the different types
of people that are involved in the implementation team
This course is appropriate to people using either version 5.0 or 6.0 of the portal ( AquaLogic Interaction) Do not attend this class if you have attended Foundations within the last two years, unless youd like to attend as a refresher.
