Historically cybersecurity has either been an afterthought or viewed as an obstruction to Information Technology. The Office for InformationTechnology (OIT) has made great strides in establishing a capable, highly resilient security program. In this presentation, Bob Maley, the
first and current Chief Information Security Officer for the Commonwealth will review past efforts, current initiatives and the roadmap for the future of cybersecurity in the Commonwealth.
This presentation describes the results of OITs research and analysis to develop this strategy. Highlighted topics include the results of an Emergency Telework Pilot executed to determine the feasibility of a social distancing strategy and recommendations for infrastructure revisions and policy updates.
