If you are responsible for your community or agency’s emergency planning and response activities, you need this workshop.  Review ADA Guidelines mandating that people with disabilities be included in identifying needs and evaluating effective emergency management practices. Learn what others are doing to address issues that have the greatest impact on people with disabilities including notification, evacuation, emergency transportation, sheltering and access to information.  The last part of the session will address your questions and offers the opportunity to share ideas.
