This session will provide an overview of server consolidation methodologies, tools and architectures. An overview of server consolidation goals, objectives and realities faced by organizations as they undertake their optimization initiatives will be presented.
We will review a best practices based consolidation methodology and process along with tools that can be utilized to profile both current and future state (consolidated) architectures. Mr. Frennier will provide real world based discussion of consolidation opportunities and will review the organizational and technical considerations necessary to support optimization of a server infrastructure.
