Peter Cassidy is secretary general of the Anti-Phishing Working Group
(APWG) an association made up of financial services firms, national and
local law enforcement officials, national government regulatory
ministries, CERTS, technology vendors and ISPs. The APWG is focused
exclusively on understanding and eliminating phishing attacks by
facilitating cross-industrial dialogue and, where appropriate, research
collaborations between industry groups, government, law enforcement and
academia.
In real life, Mr. Cassidy is business development consultant, analyst,
speaker, writer and commentator on information security, industry and
public policy, principally under the banner of the TriArche Research Group
in Cambridge, MA, a collaborative of senior management consultants and
industrial contractors.
