Ruth Steinberg manages and contributes to a variety of client engagements in the public sector. As a member of the North America Public Sector practice team, Ms. Steinberg is a thought leader for public sector procurement, IT strategic planning, IT investment management, asset management and ERP. She joined Gartner in 1999 and is based in the Stamford, Connecticut, headquarters. Prior to joining Gartner Consulting, Ms. Steinberg served as director, technical services, for Bowne & Co., as well as CIO for the New York City School Construction Authority.

Ms. Steinberg holds a bachelor’s degree in business administration from the John M. Olin School of Business at Washington University.
